Why weddings?

In case you wanted to know more about the girl behind the camera..

Hi, I’m Charlotte! I live in Ross-on-Wye (as I’m allergic to cities) with my boyfriend, Jake, in a house we (painfully) renovated together over several long, dusty months.

I love the outdoors and this basically fuels my life. When I’m not riding downhill tracks, you'll find me hiking, camping, cooking, or planning the next escape (I try to squeeze in aggressive little travel missions whenever I can)

I got into photography back in college, where I studied it as an A-level, but it wasn’t until a gnarly mountain biking accident that I rediscovered it. With riding off the cards during recovery, I purchased a fancy camera…and everything changed.

Shortly after, I converted a Ford Transit, hit the road solo, and spent three months exploring Europe. That trip not only reignited my creative spark but also filled my camera roll with some of my favourite travel shots to date (feel free to stalk my personal Instagram and scroll back!).

Well, who doesn’t love a wedding? Being surrounded by joy, love, chaos, while getting to tell a story through photos, is honestly my dream job. And hey, it puts my (very expensive) camera gear to good use.

Photographing a wedding feels like living two days in one. I get to explore incredible venues, witness beautiful moments, and meet amazing people. I’m a very friendly and social person, so I love getting to know my couples and being part of their day.

It’s a real privilege to capture those memories and deliver a gallery that couples will cherish forever. Honestly, I get such a buzz when couples are completely gassed about the shots I’ve taken - knowing I’ve bottled up the magic of their day makes it all so worth it.

Why weddings?

Every man and his dog are wedding photographers, why you?

When I look at wedding photos, or wedding photographers, two things always stand out to me: the editing style, and how the moment was curated. Not just what’s in the frame, but the energy behind it.

My editing style leans cinematic: rich tones and images that feel like they belong in a movie, not just a wedding album.

I’m not just here to stand back and click a button. I like to consider myself a vibe architect…always thinking of ways to make your day feel even more fun, more you, and more unforgettable. That might mean getting you and your partner behind the bar during the reception to pour shots or make cocktails, dancing on tables with your bridal party, climbing a hill for golden hour, or stealing five quiet minutes during the chaos to soak it all in…..

……when it comes to posing, I’ll keep it relaxed, fun, and full of movement. I come armed with prompts that’ll get you laughing, twirling, running, and wrapped up in each other…none of that awkward, stiff stuff.

Most of the day, I’ll blend into the background and let things unfold naturally. But, there are moments that need a bit of direction (group shots with your 89-year-old nan, a wriggly baby, and that one uncle who’s always gone AWOL… I’ve got you).

I love working closely with my couples to bring their vision to life. If you’ve got inspo or a certain vibe in mind - amazing. Let’s create a mood board and make it happen. If you’ve got no clue where to start, don’t worry, I’ve got ideas, creative energy, and a camera. Let’s create a wedding gallery that brings all the feels, forever.

At the end of the day, my job is to tell your story in a way that feels true to you. and to make sure you actually enjoy the process while we’re at it.
